About the role
 

Our Health and Safety Department, composed of over 5 people, is integrated in the Soda Ash global business unit and focuses on the comprehensive administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to the Health and Safety Department. As an Office Administrator, you will maintain accurate employee training records and files, preparing reports to comply with regulatory and company requirements.  You will be accountable for: Assist in coordinating annual refresher training and onboarding for new hires.  Conduct training sessions and disseminates safety-related materials and forms to new employees. Support the development and implementation of various training programs. Manage site reimbursement programs for safety gear, including boots, FR clothing, and safety glasses. Contribute to the management of safety KPIs and recognition programs. Assist with the coordination of the safety department budget, ensuring expenses are appropriately allocated across site departments. Oversee Workers' Compensation, supports case management efforts, and ensures effective communication during accident-related incidents. We offer a permanent contract based onsite working schedule.

About you

 

High school diploma (or GED) A minimum of two years of Administrative Assistance experience. Experience with Workers' Compensation (Wyoming Workers' Compensation) and case management is required. Previous work experience in environments regulated by MSHA or OSHA is preferred. Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required. Proficiency in Windows-based software and SAP, including requisitions, is essential. Strong Administrative Assistant skills, including typing, filing, and a thorough understanding of office practices and procedures, are essential. Knowledge in manufacturing, mining, or similar industrial settings is highly desirable. Behaviors: Agile Detail oriented Collaborative

 

About the pay and benefits

 

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $56,000/yr to $70,000/yr, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
