As the Health and Safety Programs Manager, you will be part of a team of professionals that help every employee to return home safe every day and to maintain the operational effectiveness of the enterprise to provide its customers with the best products and services.

You will work a hybrid position located in Cranberry Twp, PA and will report to the Director of EHS.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and support implementation of cost-effective, industry best practices to reduce incidents and workers compensation costs that are in consideration of our strategy.Be the subject matter expert for all safety, health, fire prevention and process safety matters affecting operations (manufacturing, distribution, stores, and field sales).Support operations and EHS professionals in maintaining compliance with regulations involving occupational safety and health, fleet safety, process safety, fire prevention and workers compensation.Implement and maintain incident reporting and tracking processes for injuries, compliance events, motor vehicle accidents and process safety incidents to meet regulatory requirements and voluntary (internal and external) reporting expectations.Monitor the latest safety and health regulatory requirements and lead efforts to develop and advocate for our position with applicable regulators.Identify and manage consultants who provide specialized needs related to topics such as driver safety, occupational health, process safety and training.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health, professional certifications (CIH, CSP) preferred.10+ years of progressive experience within a safety and health function with relevant industry (chemical manufacturing / distribution).Experience with safety and health regulations (OSHA, State and Canadian regulations) and industry best practices.Understanding of the chemical formulation manufacturing processes and its potential safety, health and process safety impacts.Ability to advocate and negotiate with governmental agencies on behalf of the enterprise.
