Position Overview:
The Health & Safety Quality Improvement Assistant is responsible to ensure all cottages in the US Program – Shelter, Therapeutic Group Home (TGH), and Staff Secure/Heightened Supervision Facility (SS/HSF) adhere to ORR, OCFS, OSHA and agency health and safety standards. The Health & Safety Quality Improvement Assistant will carry out monitoring and other related quality improvement activities to ensure the US Program is meeting best practice standards and is in compliance with related licensing, regulatory and accreditation requirements including safety codes, rules and regulations. The Health & Safety Quality Improvement Assistant closely works with the Director(s) of Residential Services, Assistant Director of Residential Services, Senior Supervisors, Assistant Supervisors, Director of Case Management Services, Lead Case Managers, Lead Clinicians, PSA Compliance Manager, Quality Improvement Specialist, Program Director and Vice President.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred and High School Diploma required.Must be bilingual and speak Spanish.Related experience in agency accreditation processes, licensing and facility inspection, life safety codes, rules and regulations oversight preferred.Ability to work as a member of a team, flexibility and willingness to learn.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Well organized, able to meet deadlines and manage successfully multiple assignments at the same time.Computer skills at an extremely proficient level.Familiarity with quality improvement, data collection, analysis and presentation of such information.Knowledge of OCFS and ORR regulations.Salary Range: $25.9405 To $25.9405 Hourly
