The Health & Welfare (HW) Project Manager will oversee and manage HW administration tasks related to system implementations and special client projects within the Employee Benefits and Consulting Practice (EBAC).
Reporting to the HW Implementation Manager, the HW Project Manager will be a key resource supporting project management and implementation configuration across the HW Administration line of business. They will work closely with technology team members to ensure the HW tech needs are understood and prioritized appropriately. Their primary goal will be to guide the direction of technology needs and internal process improvements to optimize the functions within the business unit while enhancing our services and tools for current clients and to attract new ones. They will drive technology development to grow the business, meet regulatory requirements and increase internal efficiencies. Once implemented, the candidate will ensure the business unit understands the technology enhancements and how to use it to improve processes and gain efficiencies.

What You Will Do
Coordinate work for new HW Implementation projects for all aspects of the implementation project from sales support to the transition to the ongoing client team; includes project management and coordination of existing client support and changes. Coordinate with the ongoing administration team to assist in creating system development requirements, scheduling and prioritize incoming work, and ensure on-time delivery based on customer expectations for current and future client needs. Act as the liaison from the HW administration team to oversee all interactions with the HW technology team. Including requirements, priority, issue triage, and complex ad hoc analysis. Assist in the development and review of plan specifications, system setup and process coordination for new Health and Welfare administration systems configuration based on existing plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and best practices. Support overall work management and project management tasks associated with client technology support and development. Review, apply, and document all HW administration implementation policy and procedure, as appropriate. Serve as a client facing subject matter expert on system capabilities and change management. Provide oversight on the HW administration process, adherence to procedures, and plan provisions to ensure that the team is maintaining client commitments. Manage escalations from customers and internal groups to ensure timely and quality resolutions to their issues and concerns. Work with HW technology team to review, maintain, and improve system change management procedures, defining best practices. Identify, analyze, and assist in executing process improvements. Interface with plan sponsor representatives concerning implementation and ongoing administration changes.Who We Are Looking For
Required Experience and Skills
5+ of health and Welfare benefit administration and implementation project management experience. Knowledge of all regulatory facets of health and welfare plan administration such as cafeteria plan rules, Affordable Care Act, and other health and welfare regulatory issues involving ERISA and IRS Rulings. Must possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to effectively manage and track multiple tasks, issues and projects at one time. Must possess the ability to effectively manage project scope and client expectations, while providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Must possess the ability to accomplish tasks through others, in an environment with no reporting relationship. Must possess a solid understanding of the Health and Welfare outsourcing market and products. Knowledge of technical development projects is a plus. Great collaboration skills and the proven ability to drive and measure continuous improvement. Candidates must be self-motivated, and be willing to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, changing business environment. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Office (Word and Excel) and Project.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Access and/or SQL Server a plus.Personal Qualifications

This role is based out of the Milliman office in Dallas, TX, but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $79,000 - $161,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
