Working with Corepoint Integration Engine and Orion Rhapsody? Integration Engines; merging data management into the Orion Rhapsody data base with these HL7 based protocols. Developers are needed in the Cedar Rapids local area to support current projects.

· These projects are “bolt-on applications” to the Epic healthcare data management system.

· Customer interviews are used to determine requirements, nothing written down, test on the fly

· Typical releases are 18 months for new deployments, with “Fixers = 2-3 developers for 2 days to 2 weeks

· These integrations are fast paced development efforts that are installed into a hospitals IT network “After 5 and it better work at 8AM”



Responsibilities and Requirements of this position must include:

? C++ programmers (“bangers")

? Like working very fast paced, loose requirements, “Schedule is Everything”, projects

? A good understanding of IF/Else statements and conditional structures

? Understanding of EPIC Bolt-ons and can develop the data transformations and transfers



Required:

v C++ programmers

v On-Site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa or very local area



Very desirable (but not required):

? Experience with Epic software

? Experience with Corepoint Integration Engine and Orion Rhapsody? Integration Engine

? Computer Science Degree

? Experience with implementing & supporting HL7, X12, and flat file interface solutions
