Position Details:
Location: Onsite (Traveling between BayCare hospitals)Status: Full timeShift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Days: Monday through Friday (Saturdays during events)This Health Care Navigator opportunity is a full-time position. This position requires traveling and on-site work with the hospitals.
Responsibilities:
The Health Care Navigator Coordinator functions as a CMS Licensed, Health Care Navigator providing eligibility and enrollment assistance to uninsured/underinsured individuals and families and to anyone seeking more affordable health care options. The Health Care Navigator Coordinator participates in community events, travels to offsite locations to meet with individuals, and public speaking to raise awareness about health insurance coverage options and CHNA activity. As part of the Financial Assistance department, this position supports all efforts to assist patients with health care access issues; including enrollment, education, appointments, transportation and prescriptions. The Health Care Navigator Coordinator serves as a departmental contact for policy and procedure standards, coordinates information and processes with other departments and outside agencies, and provides training and mentoring on an on-going basis for the Health Care Navigator team.
