DescriptionThe incumbent in this position is responsible for conducting gym classes (i.e. Aerobic) and providing personal training for both hotel guests and members as per the standards set by Kempinski.

Key Responsibilities\nIs responsible for the safety of all guests and employees using the Fitness Center.\nExhibits sensitivity to guest’s needs and cultural differences.\nMotivates guests to adhere to a fitness program and achieve goals.\nEvaluates the guest’s physical fitness level.\nDevelops a fitness program for the guest.\nTeaches exercise classes to the guests. Coordinates timetable and updates it regularly.\nMonitors the progress for the guest's fitness program.\nAssists members in the Fitness Center with use of equipment.\nAlways be in top physical condition.\nPrepares the fitness department equipment and supplies daily.\nStays up-dated on the latest developments pertinent to the department and becomes well-versed and trained in their usage.\nPerforms special projects delegated by the manager and/or director.\nPerforms whatever is necessary to ensure and maintain a pleasant visit for each guest, have enough towels and water supply for guests.\nConducts tours of the facility.\nMaintains cleanliness and neatness of the facility, especially after guest use.\nTakes inventory of the Fitness Center every months.\nMaintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform, appearance and posture, as well as all personnel involved in the Fitness Center operation or under his/her supervision.\nMaintain all equipment. Notify to the Fitness Manager or his/her delegates of any damages or losses.\nPerforms all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.\nTo understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety.\nTo ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.\nTo understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules & regulations.\nTo report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.\nPerforms any other duties as assigned to him/her by management.\nAdditional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.\n
