Health Coach, Medical Assistant
**Position: Health Management Assistant** **Location: Columbia SC** **Duration :3+ months** **Pay Rate: $18/hr on W2** **We are looking for a** **Health Management Assistant** **to join one of our Fortune 500 Healthcare clients.** **Responsibilities:** + **Health Coaching/Intervention (50%)** : Provide health coaching to members via phone or in person, document patient information accurately. + **Program Development & Monitoring (30%)** : Identify areas needing health programs, monitor quality indicators, and create educational materials for members/providers. + **Implementation Support (10%)** : Help implement health management activities, facilitate programs for medium-risk patients, and analyze reports. + **Strategy Development (10%)** : Develop strategies to enhance program participation and effectiveness, maintain communication with providers, representatives, and members. **Skills Required:** + Strong independence, prioritization, and decision-making skills. + Excellent customer service and organizational abilities. + Persuasion, negotiation, and critical thinking skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. **Qualifications:** + **Education** : Associate Degree in Medical Assisting or completion of a post-secondary Medical Assistant Program. + **Experience** : 3 years of clinical experience. + **Certification** : Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credentials (e.g., AAMA, AMA, NRCMA). **We are looking for the candidate who are eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship.** If you’re interested, please click **“Apply”** button.
