Position Overview: As a Health Educator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing health education programs that improve the well-being of our patients and their families. Your efforts will help foster a healthier community by providing valuable information and resources.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and evaluate health education programs and materialsConduct health education sessions and workshops for patients, staff, and community membersAssess the health education needs of the community and tailor programs accordinglyCollaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate health education into patient care plansProvide one-on-one health education and counseling to patientsMaintain accurate records of program activities and outcomesStay up-to-date with current health education practices and guidelines

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Community Health, Public Health, or a related human services field from an accredited college or universityAt least one year of specialized experience as a Health Educator after graduationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to develop and deliver engaging educational contentKnowledge of health education theories and practicesExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
