Health Equity Evaluation Specialist
Job Summary

The Health Equity Evaluation Specialist will work as part of the health equity evaluation, assessment, and analytics team (HEEAAT) to design and implement evaluation strategies associated with the health equity work at Corewell Health. The evaluation specialist role will require a candidate to apply mixed-methods to answer a diverse set of questions. The evaluation specialist should have some experience with evaluation and evaluation methodologies. This position will also work with members of the assessment and analytics team to support the strategic priorities of the HEEAAT team. 

The evaluation specialist role requires collaboration with stakeholders inside and outside Corewell Health to evaluate key priorities outlined in the health equity strategy and contribute to reporting on the progress and impact of the health system in achieving health equity goals. The health equity evaluation team is responsible for both strategy level evaluation of key priorities and program level evaluations of specific initiatives within the three-healthcare delivery region. This role will work with health equity leaders across all three healthcare delivery regions.

The evaluation team values diverse perspectives, open and honest dialogue, and curiosity. Some experience in the healthcare sector or with other health equity initiatives would be beneficial but is not required. It is important for candidates to be able to manage fast-changing conditions and periods of uncertainty.

Essential FunctionsOversees small to medium sized, multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts. These projects may be a portion or phase of a larger project or program.Coordinates project work including project plans and schedules, and completes projects on time and within budget. Analyzes and documents, processes, procedures and outcomes to seek continuous improvement. Assesses resource requirements for project tasks and works with leaders of functional areas and subject matter experts to meet project plan deliverables.Communicates, collaborates, networks and acts as a consultant to stakeholders/business partners in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources.Serves as a liaison for projects between various departments within the system.Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent2 years of relevant experience of applicable business function experience or other related experience2 years of relevant experience of related experience, preferably in project management

Preferred

Master's DegreeCRT-Project Management Professional, Associate (CAPM) - OrCRT-Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI Project Management Institute
