Health Information Management Manager

**We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior HIM Manager to join our healthcare team in Greencastle, IN.**
**Competitive Salary: $80,000-$89,000 annually!**
Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. No weekends!
**Education:**
RHIA or RHIT certification preferred
Bachelors Degree - HIM Management or related field.
Leadership experience
**What will you do:**
+ Organize, oversee, and protect patient health information data which includes symptoms, diagnoses, medical histories, test results, and procedures.
+ **Implement health information systems** and processes to ensure the complete and accurate documentation of medical records.
+ **Work with various medical staff** , including nurses and doctors, to improve the quality and accuracy of patient data.
+ **Code (or collaborate with coders)** to ensure secure and bug-free systems for managing health information.
+ **Perform regular audits** to ensure the health information department, techniques, and processes comply with guidelines set out by the American Health Information Management Association, or AHIMA (as well as federal and state laws).
