Job Summary\:
The HIM Tech is responsible for tracking and analyzing patient records and responding to requests from patients and various departments within the hospital, including security or litigation.
Essential Functions\:

Effectively appropriately and clearly communicate with co-workers and director/manager/supervisors, demonstrating customer service excellence through application of positive language principles, appropriate response and use of constructive problem-solving techniques which foster positive outcomes.Is familiar with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric patients and SNF medical record requirements. Willingness to accept additional assignments.Must be able to process a minimum of 20 medical records per day.Knowledge of The Joint Commission standards and state medical record and HIPPAA requirements.Job Summary\:
