We anticipate our intern will get the opportunity to participate in the planning and performance of:

Ensuring a radiologically and industrially safe working environment for our employees Health Physics/Radiation Safety audits at our radioactive materials (RAM) sites Improvements in Corporate Radiological Protection procedures and guides Projects utilizing software packages such as CAP-88, NRCDose, etc. Program improvements at our RAM sites

 

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

Pursuing Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Health Physics Required.  Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred. US Citizen or Permanent Resident Completion of Sophomore year college by May 2025 Some experience with radiological regulatory requirements Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, standard computer applications. Ability to function in a constantly evolving environment and balance multiple priorities simultaneously. Good communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills. Analytical problem-solving skills.

Location:  Remote

Duration: 10-12 weeks; begin in May 2025
