JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Director of Wellness Center, the Health Screening Tech is responsible for executing community health screening programs that further EMH’s Mission and Vision of measurable improving the health of the community. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. WORKING CONDITIONS, HAZARDS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

Will work in various environments where health fair services are provided, may involve evening and weekend work. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently. Interaction with clients essential may involve exposure to blood borne pathogens.

CONTACTS WITH OTHERS:

The general public, students, and EMH Associates.

EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS:

Will receive on-the-job training in use of glucose and cholesterol testing equipment, if applicable. Use of body fat, and blood pressure devices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENTS:

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:  Previous experience in clinical setting preferred.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:

Maintains valid Driver’s License. May be asked to fleet vehicle to events.
