Job Summary: The MHS Specialty Integration Advocate supports the growth and customer retention goals of McKesson Health Systems through a variety of strategic and tactical client solutions-oriented activities. This role leverages in-depth knowledge of specialty distribution and class of trade requirements across hospital, specialty pharmacy, retail pharmacy, and clinic class of trade. Health Systems, specialty channel distribution, industry and business processes, deep knowledge of limited distribution drugs being sold, and technical expertise to drive and increase adoption and utilization of specialty channel drugs in Health Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Sales Solutions and Support: Provide strategic and tactical support to a designated Field Sales Team (West, Central, East), ensuring their needs are met and driving customer satisfaction and retention. Employee will have a dotted line to their designated AVP and VPS who in partnership with the Senior Director of Sales Operations will manage quarterly KPI’s in partnership.

Technical Expertise: Use in-depth knowledge of specialty channel and limited distribution drugs and technical expertise to support the sales team, customers, and other related teams/departments during the sales process.

Case Studies and Insights: Compile case studies, relevant data, and experience-driven insights to advance sales operations and effectiveness ability to deliver solutions to internal teams that advance McKesson’s market position.

Collaboration: Collaborate with sales teams to develop and recommend products and services that meet customers' requirements. Work closely with all MHS strategic teams, including Marketing, Sales, P&AS, National Accounts, and McKesson Technology. Close partnership with Customer Service and Distribution Operations to navigate any impact to critical patients.

Client Renewal and Retention: Be accountable for client renewal and retention results, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of McKesson's and competitors' products and/or services.

Best Practices: Ensure best practices are adopted for product use and provide training and support to customers as needed; act as a connector between field sales and all other McKesson teams.

Escalation Handling: Handle escalations and coordinate across functional areas of the company to resolve customer issues quickly and effectively: compile proof of concept to drive innovation in areas that are critical to business success for specialty channel distribution.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

4+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Strong technical knowledge of the products being sold.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$90,900 - $151,500
