Health Unit Coordinator

Under the direction of the Manager/designee performs a variety of duties related to the clerical and receptionist activities of the department and serves as the focal communication source in the nursing station and/or reception area and performs related duties as assigned. Ages of Patients:  Adolescent to geriatric.

Shift Details: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, Variable shift

 

Required qualifications:

Coursework/Training and Medical Terminology education. Medical Terminology experience.

Preferred qualifications:

Coursework/Training and Unit Secretary course completion. Upon hire: Health Unit Coordinator Certification 1 year of Hospital, physician office, or other medical setting experience.
