This position provides support to the unit by processing physician's orders, communicating requests, messages and information that assists the physicians, nurses, and other personnel responsible for resident care. This individual is responsible for clerical duties and functions as the unit receptionist. Individuals must work cooperatively with members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team and in accordance with the established guidelines and procedures of Providence St. Joseph's Hospital. Reports to Nursing Supervisor/Charge Nurse. Functions according to the standards of the profession.
