Join us to make an impact today!The role at a glance:NBBJ is seeking intermediate Healthcare Architect/Medical Planners with 5-10 years’ experience in the design and planning of complex healthcare projects at various scales including large scale hospitals and ambulatory care centers. This is an opportunity to join a fully integrated design studio where a diverse group of technical architects, interior designers, medical planners and clinical consultants collaborate as a team from concept design through construction.   In your new role you will:Design and planning of healthcare environments of all scales, from large hospitals to thoughtful renovations of complex hospital departmentsWork with clients to identify objectives and formulate optionsParticipate in and help lead Clinical User Group meetings and participate in client presentationsSupport technical design and documentation on projects of various sizes and complexities.Complete documents that adhere to FGI, Joint Commission and municipal public health agency requirements.Oversee coordination of interior, MEP, and structural related disciplines during the design phase. Proven ability to collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers from Concept Design through Construction

What you will need to succeed:

5-10 years Medical Planning experience – complex healthcare projects of any scaleDemonstrated excellence in design and innovationExperience in leading HC projects from programming/concept design through construction administrationSkilled in leadership and management of user group engagements and development of deliverablesFamiliarity with issues surrounding innovative HC strategic planning, MP, and programming Strong verbal and graphic communication skills, effective client relationship skills, and talent for working with diverse teams of designers and consultants in a collaborative environment.Experience with interior documentation and detailing, including healthcare related casework detailing.Experience marketing HC projectsFamiliarity with current industry practices, trends, and innovationRevit proficientWillingness to travelExceptional presentation skillsProfessional Licensure, requiredLEED Accreditation, encouragedFamiliarity with LEAN Concepts, encouraged
