We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Cheshire East Service, pro-actively assist in the delivery of comprehensive interventions aimed at improving health & wellbeing for service users.
The Healthcare assistant role is a varied one, the successful candidate will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, supporting with specialist clinical interventions to people who use our services. This role will be working across both our bases, Macclesfield and Crewe, the successful candidate can nominate their base and will be paid mileage to our other office.
Where: Cheshire East, base to suit candidate.
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £24,466.99 - £26,110.88 Dependent on experience (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)
ResponsibilitiesAbout the role:
Working closely with your Nursing team to develop pathways to care Support service users in opiate and alcohol interventions. You will support on harm reduction interventions along with physical and mental health assessments. Keeping the people who use our services at the heart of everything you do
About you:
Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a team Experience of working within substance misuse or a social care setting would be an advantage but not essential A clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services Good organisational skills Confidence to work on own initiative as well as part of the team Communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing Respond flexibly to the demands of the post
