Where We Need You
Protiviti is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Business Development to spearhead the growth of our Healthcare sector, which encompasses Provider, Payer, and Life Sciences. This position is open to our Dallas or Chicago markets .
Protiviti works in a hybrid environment and this role requires that you work in-person in our office several times per week .
What You Can Expect
As a Vice President of Business Development, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth. Your primary responsibilities will include initiating and developing new business relationships with prospective clients within the healthcare industry, primarily selling them our technology solutions , with the goal of meeting or exceeding defined revenue objectives .
You will also maintain and strengthen relationships with our existing clients. By understanding their unique needs, challenges, and goals, you will position yourself as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance, insights, and solutions that cater to their business requirements.
Identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services will be a key aspect of your role. You will actively participate in various business development activities, such as prospecting, lead generation, and proposal development, to expand our client base and market presence.
You will work to support and enhance procurement/sourcing relationships at certain large key accounts or targets. With a focus on the healthcare industry, you will spend a significant portion of your time selling technology solutions, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?
+ Extensive experience in driving revenue growth, consistently reaching over $ 6 Million in sales targets.
+ Strong understanding o f the Healthcare Industry (Provider, Payer, and Life Sciences) , with a primary focus on selling technology services and solutions.
+ Developing and executing s trategic plans to expand the firm’s client base and market presence.
+ Collaborating with executive leadership to define sales objectives , priorities, and strategies aligned with organizational goals.
+ Build ing and maintain ing strong relationships with key clients and prospects, including partnering with Managed Business Services and Managed Technology S ervices teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
+ Utilizing CRM tools for comprehensive reporting and analytics, optimizing sales processes based on data-driven insights, and integrating CRM usage with strategic sales strategies.
+ Driv ing the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, and negotiating contracts.
+ Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and revenue for ecasts to ass ess progress.
+ Staying informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations.
Your Educational and Professional Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business or related field or equivalent experience. Master’s Degree a plus.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the consulting industry , or related field .
Our Hybrid Workplace
Protiviti operates in a hybrid work environment, meaning all employees are expected to achieve a blend of in-person and remote work. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and clients while offering a flexible environment. The expected ratio of remote to in-person work will vary by team and other business factors. Local and/or out-of-state travel is required based on our project and client commitments.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.
$170,000- $280,000
Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year. Protiviti’s Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) provides additional incentive opportunities on top of their annualized salary for eligible employees. Protiviti provides paid Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) our people receive varies based on their years of service. A new hire receives up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. For every 3 years of service, our people receive an additional 3 days of CTO, up to a maximum of 30 days per year. Our people also receive up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year. We offer the opportunity to contribute to our company 401(k) savings and investment plan, with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions for eligible employees.
