Amazon Health Services (AHS) is searching for a talented Healthcare Compliance Senior Manager to help us evolve the technology and processes needed to operate a world class compliance program. This role will partner closely with Amazon Pharmacy’s leadership team to optimize key elements of an effective compliance program for all the partner services and payer relations products. This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex industry relationships by evaluating regulatory risk, preventing individual and institutional conflicts of interest, and ensuring all compliance requirements are met.

Key job responsibilities
• Support the development of policies and procedures.
• Be a subject matter expert on federal, state and local healthcare regulatory rules and regulations.
• Regularly consult the business on the applicability to the business.
• Establish the vision and organizational framework for a comprehensive partner services and payer relations compliance program.
• Review vendor agreements with focus on federal and state regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, CMS compliance, Stark and Anti-Kickback risk, and state pharmacy regulations.
• Partner cross functionally to assist with validating risks and establish a robust system for mitigation of risk with an emphasis on closed-loop root cause analysis and corrective actions for applicable products.




A day in the life
• Provide preventative actionable compliance guidance to various stakeholders utilizing subject matter expertise in federal, state and local rules and regulations.
• Assess business processes and systems to identify any additional compliance risks.
• Present reports to the leadership team related to identified findings and risks.
• Support development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
• Propose action plans to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and/or internal policies and procedures.
