Apply now to seize this chance for professional growth! **Summary:** This individual will assist senior staff in the New York State Department of Health, Division of Health Plan Contracting and Oversight (DHPCO). Working within the Bureau of Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC), the candidate will be performing various MLTC Systems Unit tasks. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, responsibilities relating to reviews of Managed Long Term Care plans’ Quarterly Report submissions, reporting of Plan enrollment numbers, tracking and reporting on Fair Hearing Data, running data analysis within the Medicaid Data Warehouse and through other various data platforms, answering communications from MLTC plans regarding MLTC report submissions, assisting in other various reports and analysis, and professionally communicating with various internal and external stakeholders. **Responsibilities:** + Assist in daily activities involving querying and reporting of data from various data warehouses + Pull data from external data sources, document requests in database, and run additional analysis for reporting purposes + Assist in daily activities relating to the Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) Compliance and Data Analysis, inclusive of distributing and collecting Quarterly reporting templates + Communicate professionally with MLTC Plans regarding Department requests and submissions + Perform complex data analysis on various Quarterly Reporting submissions to report findings appropriately and accurately to internal and external stakeholders + Assist in ad hoc data analysis projects and reporting needs of the Systems Unit + Assist in the design and creation of data sharing platforms/repositories for the Unit + Other activities as deemed necessary in response to the changing needs of DHPCO. **Requirements:** + Associate’s degree w/2-5 years of work experience writing code, understanding code and utilizing SQL and Python OR Bachelor’s Degree with experience writing code, understanding code and utilizing SQL via an internship (new grads considered!) + Experience in writing Structured Query Language (SQL), SAS, or Python coding structures. + Experience in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft SharePoint. + Strong analytical and communication (both written and verbal) skills. + The ability to think creatively and strategically. + Working knowledge of Medicaid would be nice to have **but not required** + Familiarity with Long Term Care programs, such as home health care and the consumer directed personal assistance program would be nice to have **but not required** Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
