Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare IT Integration Specialist to join our Software Solution department. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced Windows troubleshooting, support our software and cloud platform, and have a strong understanding of IT security. This role requires effective communication with both customers and developers, including composing JIRA tickets that developers can easily understand.
Essential Functions
Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration and support of HL7 standards.
Provide advanced Windows troubleshooting and support for our software and cloud platform.
Collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues and enhance platform performance.
Communicate effectively with customers to understand their issues and provide timely solutions.
Compose clear and detailed JIRA tickets for developers.
Ensure the security of IT systems and data, adhering to best practices and company policies.
Utilize REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing and documentation purposes.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Hospital IT or equally complex systems.
Experience with REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in HL7 and IT security best practices is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting.
Experience with cloud platforms and supporting software applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks/tickets by field requests.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Experience with JIRA or similar issue-tracking software.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
Availability to work on-call or during off-hours as needed to support hospital IT operations.
Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Experience with networking, including installation, configuration, and management of networks is preferred.
Experience with servers, virtualization technologies and storage solutions.
Proficiency with JIRA for issue tracking and ticket management.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Understanding of IT security tools and protocols.
