Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior-Mid Level Associate Attorney to join their Healthcare Litigation Practice Group in Nashville.
Candidate Profile: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Active Bar Admission in Tennessee required. 2+ years of substantive experience in complex litigation, with a focus on healthcare litigation preferred. Demonstrated legal writing experience, including drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests. Experience preparing for, taking, or defending depositions is highly advantageous. Familiarity with managed care and reimbursement disputes, medical malpractice, medical staffing issues, or representing hospitals is a plus. Superb research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively navigate complex subject matter. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in complex healthcare litigation matters, delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision. Draft and review pleadings, briefs, and motions, while managing discovery processes. Contribute to deposition preparation and execution as part of trial readiness. Advise healthcare clients on managed care and reimbursement disputes, malpractice cases, and other medical staffing issues. Collaborate with the national healthcare litigation team to deliver strategic and comprehensive legal solutions.
