Job Summary:
Manages services provided to healthcare facilities and medical clinicians to ensure that reporting efforts related to quality payment programs (examples include CMS MIPS, ACO, BCPI etc) meet the regulatory and compliance requirements of their respective programs and are reported per mandated submission standards and timelines. Conducts ongoing product evaluation and develops plans, tools and strategies that enhance end user experiences.
Essential Job Functions:
Manages services provided to healthcare facilities and medical clinicians to ensure that reporting efforts related to quality payment programs meet the regulatory and compliance requirements of their respective programs and are reported per mandated submission standards and timelines.Work with staff in facilitating client engagement in activities that have an impact on effective reporting for quality payment programs, including:Working with administrators, managers, and medical staff to analyze baseline data from internal quality performance processes and outcomes.Familiarizing client/staff with reporting specifications and revisions of current quality payment programs.Functioning as a resource for interpreting the meaning of regulations and specifications as they apply to different quality payment programs.Identifying relevant quality program training needs and delivering the training.Providing support and training for software and technology tools used for data collection activities.Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement through pre-audit chart reviews for signs of non-compliance with quality reporting program protocols, procedures, and specifications.Using targeted data to identify gaps in clinical care and suggest quality improvement strategies that will optimize quality reporting outcomes.Working with IT in Collating and preparing data for submission via authorized and accepted submission protocols.Assisting with interpreting final adjudications and detailed feedback, from quality payment program regulatory agencies, to be shared with all stakeholders in the facility or clinic.Preparing future action plans that maintain performance for satisfactory reporting results or remediate deficient performance, as applicable.
Qualifications:
