Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Identify and track prospective clients/projects, with special emphasis on strategic projects and major “needle moving” healthcare opportunities
Drive positive client outcomes with existing clients through innovation, staff development, best practice delivery, technical expertise, and problem-solving solutions.
Develop, foster and maintain strong positive relationships among and between clients, industry partners, internal team members and company leadership
Ensure positive financial performance through effective management of current projects, extending/increasing services, and pricing of new/proposed work
Lead the delivery of strategic and major healthcare projects, ensuring expert/first class delivery of services.
Partner with other Cumming leaders with the goal of providing an integrated project approach to clients and setting Cumming apart from competitors.
Be a national leader in our Healthcare project sector.
Subject Matter Expertise:
Stay current on the ever-changing healthcare industry, including regulatory compliance, advancing technologies, and the balance between clinical excellence and operational efficiency
Identify and differentiate between different project delivery methods
Understand, negotiate and administer agreements
Collaboration:
Work with CG local, regional, national and market sector leadership and internal team members in leading major pursuits and securing of new work with large healthcare clients
Maintain positive relationship with key owners contractors, architects and other industry consultants
Oversee internal cross-functional teams to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
Team Member Management
Actively participate in the recruitment of top industry talent to further enhance team performance.
Develop and manage new team members to meet company and client expectations and reach their full potential
Lead and mentor a diverse and talented group of current team members to ensure the success of the company.
Financial Performance:
Work with Cumming leadership in business plan financial goal setting
Identify and Convert new client engagements to exceed business plan revenue and EBITDA goals
Develop, track and report on client health, revenue, receivables, and backlog through use of Vena and PowerBI.
Business Development & Strategic Growth
Develop a full understanding of company service capabilities and differentiators including cost estimating, scheduling, project management and other consulting services
Leverage relationships with current and prospective clients to secure new work
Participate in the “Selling Boldy” initiative to prospective clients
Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities to create value propositions and promotional strategies for specific offerings using customer input
Assist in the development of sales and marketing collateral as required
Lead and or assist in the development of client proposals for new opportunities
Utilize D 365 CRM to track and manage prospective client interactions
Preferred Education and Experience:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required, preferably with a specialization in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of construction project management experience within Healthcare Facilities & Real Estate of all project types with at least 5 years leading teams.
Have considerable experience and a network.
Understand that a single person can have a great impact on the success of an organization, but depend on and work with the Cumming team in order to achieve such success.
Willingness to travel as required to meet company and client expectations
