The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative Healthcare Account Manager to join our team. You will part of the US Healthcare sales team for the West region and be responsible for selling Nutanix’s products and solutions through channel partners and interacting directly with customers in the region. You will also work very closely with a Sales Engineer in the territory.

About the Team
You will be joining the US Healthcare sales team at Nutanix, which focuses on revolutionizing data center operations within healthcare provider accounts. This dynamic team is based in the West region and is characterized by a culture of collaboration, innovation, and a shared passion for simplifying complex processes. The mission of the team is to bring efficiency and effectiveness to healthcare organizations, ensuring that they can leverage cutting-edge technology to optimize their operations and improve service delivery.
You will report to the Senior Director of Healthcare, who is known for a collaborative and empowering leadership style. The manager emphasizes open communication and fostering creativity within the team, encouraging team members to take initiative and think outside the box. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment, with the understanding that collaboration may require occasional office visits, which are not mandatory.
This role requires approximately 50% travel, as you will be engaging directly with customers and partner organizations in the region. You will be expected to schedule and attend sales call appointments, as well as participate in relevant events and meetings that enhance relationship building and sales opportunities.
Your Role
Develop and execute account plans to sell Nutanix products based on customer business needs. Build and strengthen relationships with existing accounts and identify new prospects. Provide regular status updates and sales forecasts to management. Schedule and participate in sales calls alongside Nutanix Channel Partner Representatives. Respond to RFPs and follow up with prospects to drive sales opportunities. Facilitate training opportunities for accounts to enhance product knowledge. Collaborate closely with engineering and marketing teams to leverage support tools and feedback. Achieve defined sales performance goals and contribute to the overall growth of the Healthcare sales team.What You Will Bring
5 to 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the Healthcare vertical. Strong expertise in technical specifications relevant to Nutanix products and services. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Proven ability to develop new accounts and penetrate existing organizations. Excellent relationship management and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Engineers and Channel Partner Representatives. Experience in responding to RFPs and creating effective marketing strategies. Strong organizational skills for managing forecast/pipeline information.Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 245,680 and USD $ 368,520 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
