Job Title: Healthcare Support(1-2 week assignment Feb 24th-March 7th)
Job Description
The Healthcare Support role is designed to assist department staff by completing a variety of essential duties. Primary responsibilities include supporting nursing staff, maintaining a clean and safe unit environment, stocking unit supplies, performing routine clerical tasks, and assisting with other related duties as needed. This role demands effective communication and excellent customer service skills, along with the ability to handle clerical and rooming duties across various patient and non-patient areas.
Responsibilities
+ Assist nursing staff and maintain a clean and safe unit environment
+ Stock unit supplies and perform routine clerical tasks
+ Support general clerical and rooming duties in acute and non-acute in-patient, out-patient, and non-patient areas
+ Exercise care and caution in the use of supplies and equipment
+ Perform various patient rooming and housekeeping duties as assigned
+ Communicate effectively and maintain good customer service

Work Environment
The position is based in a medical center with varying shifts depending on the department, including AM, Swing, and PM shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for externs or individuals looking to establish a career within a major healthcare system.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
