Secretarial assignments support office operations and include such duties as office coordination, scheduling meetings, preparing and maintaining office records, reports, and correspondence pertaining to the unit staff or manager’s area of responsibility. The Unit Secretary exhibits a level of attention to detail and reviews and correct materials for correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and completeness and maintains mailing lists, program directories and the inventory and distribution of resource materials. This position will also function as the timekeeper for staff, orient new hires, complete the departure process for transitioning staff and serve as the back-up support for Section Secretary as needed.
