**Job Title: Heat Treat Helper** **Job Description** We have an immediate opening for a Heat Treat Helper in our Rancho Cucamonga Operations. This position is a key member of the Heat Treat team and will require traveling to different sites within California. We have openings in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Our company is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, excelling in vacuum melted super alloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high-performance parts. **Responsibilities** + Assist in heat treat applications for titanium, nickel-based alloys, stainless, and alloy steels. + Assist with the operation, adjustment, and routine maintenance of all furnace controllers. + Move parts on and off pallets. + Read and interpret shop order instructions, specifications, and other written and verbal instructions. + Load and unload furnaces. + Place workpieces into heating furnaces for specified periods of time. + Learn to perform hardness inspections and read conversion tables (ASTM E140). + Prepare load couples. + Grind parts. + Understand and follow company procedures and work instructions. + Maintain a safe and organized workstation and follow all company policies, safety, and procedures. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent GED. + Minimum six to twelve months of related experience and/or training. + Legal authorization to work in the United States. + Understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General labor experience. + Ability to support tooling maintenance production needs by organizing, cleaning, and grinding tools as required. + Comfortable working in a hot production environment. + Experience working with a Maintenance team. + Export Controls Questionnaire completion required. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a passionate commitment to providing an excellent work environment and the leadership support needed to deliver results.
