Purpose and Mission

To work with other team members to ensure good quality material is processed through the Ebner (heat treatment), QC testing, Oil Dipping, packaging in an efficient lean manner.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

Organising workloads to ensure the Kanban systems are adhered to

Loading and unloading of Ebner furnaces

Understanding functionality & monitoring of Ebner heat treatment cycles

Final product testing (visual, mechanical & metallographic testing)

Management of samples and reject material

Processing material through oil dipping

Packaging of finished goods Skills

Mechanical & metallographic testing

FLT licence

Overhead crane operating experience

I.T literate (Microsoft Office)

Knowledge and experience of Ebner programmes

Efficient / Lean working (e.g. Kanban way of working)

Good communication

Eager and willingness to learn and understand more about the process

Reliability

Previous SAP experience

Analytical & methodical approach to problem solving
