Heath & Safety AssociateSummary of the Role
We are seeking a Health & Safety Associate to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health laws, and to promote a healthy workplace culture for all legal entities in the joint prevention service.
Main Responsibilities
General Activities of the Joint Prevention Service:
Follow health, safety, and wellbeing policies, prevention plans, and related procedures.
Implement activities from the annual health and safety plan on time.
Design and provide health & safety information and training to employees.
Promote healthy working and living habits, and participate in external compliance audits.
Support data management processes for health and safety, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Day-to-Day Health Surveillance Activities:
Keep records of health check campaigns and support employees with occupational health check queries.
Liaise with the external prevention service to resolve incidents
Workplace Safety Activities:
Conduct workplace risk assessments and update relevant records.
Conduct air quality and lighting surveys, follow up on actions, and carry out internal health and safety inspections.
Support psychosocial risk assessments and coordinate first aiders and fire wardens.
Manage work-related accidents, including recording, investigation, and reporting.
Coordinate external professionals from a health and safety perspective, and support employees with health and safety requests.
About the Ideal Candidate
Master's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Técnico Intermedio de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales.
At least 6 months of experience in health and safety activities, including internships or volunteer work.
Understanding of an office workplace environment.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Forms, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
Proficiency in English; working proficiency in Spanish.
Key competencies: Accountability, Technical proficiency, Communication & Building relationships.
