Heavy Civil Construction Project Engineer
Job Title: Heavy Civil Construction Project EngineerJob Description Candidates will be running Water, Sewer, and Roadway construction projects. The Project Manager will work with the client, estimator, Project Engineer, and Project Coordinator to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities + Oversee and manage all aspects of heavy civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. + Establish and maintain positive relationships with government entities and private development clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. + Provide effective leadership to project teams, including site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. + Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery. + Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure timely completion of milestones. + Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations. + Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Essential Skills + 1 year or more of experience working as a Project Manager in the heavy civil engineering field. + Experience with program management and operational management. + Experience in excavation, utility, grading, sewer, and underground construction projects. + Proficiency in HVSS software for estimating. + Proficiency in Bluebeam and Agtec software. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong client relations skills. + Effective team leadership abilities. + Proficiency in budgeting and cost control. + Experience in schedule management. + Quality assurance and safety compliance expertise. Work Environment The role involves working on-site at various construction locations, managing a team of professionals, and using advanced software tools such as HVSS, Bluebeam, and Agtec.
