Diesel Mechanics are responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel-powered vehicles. Their duties include running diagnostic tests on vehicles, test driving vehicles to gauge performance and maintaining detailed records of the vehicles they have serviced. 

We are looking for candidates with good attention to detail for the position of Light Diesel Mechanic. The primary duties include performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to find faults, analyzing diagnostic test results, and repairing or replacing parts, including heating and cooling systems, air brakes and electrical system components. Servicing the vehicles, lube changes, filters, and tires.  

Highlights of your role Running diagnostic tests on vehicle. Analyzing diagnostic test results. Repairing or replacing braking systems. Checking vehicle lighting systems. Test driving vehicles to gauge performance. Performing preventative maintenance on vehicles. Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles. Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist. Maintaining a parts inventory. Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop and your work area.  You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

Schedule Options: 

Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-3:30PM, with overtime as needed

Also want to make sure you have Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is a plus ASE Diesel Certification advantageous Valid driver’s license, CDL or must be able to obtain one Aptitude for mathematics and science Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components Good IT and diagnostic skills Physically fit and able to lift up to 150 pounds Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools Attention to detail Good interpersonal skills Excellent verbal communication skills Good organization skills  We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin
