\nWe are looking for a diesel technician repairs and maintains diesel and gasoline engine commercial trucks according to dealership and factory specifications in a professional and efficient manner resulting in quality repairs for the customers.
\n
\nRequirements:\n\n\tValid Driver’s License – CDL Preferred\n\t2-5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician and/or graduate of vocational diesel school.\n\tNecessary tools to perform job responsibilities.\n\n 
\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n\n\tAbility to competently read and understand job order process, to ensure corrective action and document all repair processes to company standards.\n\tOccasionally road tests heavy duty trucks, ensuring operational readiness.\n\tDiagnose heavy duty truck system components to include - electrical, emissions related to fault codes, etc.\n\tResponsible for repairing or replacing faulty parts, as indicated by testing or observation.\n\tPerform valve and injector overhead adjustments according to OEM procedures.\n\tPerform periodic maintenance on SCR, DOC, DPF, and DEF systems.\n\tAbility to examine truck componentry, ensuring vehicle is in compliance with Federal annual inspection and brake system criteria guidelines.\n\tLubricate moving parts and components to include - drive line, hinges, suspension and steering system.\n\tAbility to install the following parts: cross members, panels, posts, rails, door equipment, flooring, lights, wiring, brakes, valves, airlines, wheel end components, landing gear, frame assembly, and other parts.\n\tAbility to perform general and major repairs by welding, pulling, straightening, riveting, and aligning multiple structural parts.\n\tAbility to examine system parts looking for damage, excessive wear, loose bolts, broken welds, structural deficiencies, air leaks, oils leaks, stuck, frozen, or rusted parts, as well as safety devices on all types of trailers.\n\tLubricates moving parts and performs air system and lighting system tests to include ABS system function while ensuring the trailer meets OEM, Federal annual inspection, and brake system criteria guidelines and industry conformance to specifications.\n\tFabricates various attachments, supports, reinforcement, gussets, etc. according to general designs, blueprints or schematic drawings.\n\tDemonstrate excellent attendance, show up to work on time and in the correct uniform.\n\tFollow all safety rules, wear proper PPE and demonstrate safety conscious mindset.\n\n 
\nQualifications and Skills:\n\n\n\tExperienced in the repair and maintenance of both diesel, and gasoline powered class 5 through 8 Heavy trucks. \n\tAlso repairs and maintenance of the following: dry van, flatbed, dry bulk tanker, liquid tanker, reefer, pole, spool, canvas side, auto carrier, specialty trailers, trailing equipment, and converter gear.\n\tVolvo, Cummins and other OEM dealership experience preferred.\n\tFreightliner, Mack, Kenworth, Peterbilt and International repair experience a plus.\n\tStrong communication skills, professional conduct and dedicated work ethic. \n\tLift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.\n\tPerform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry.\n\n
