Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You’ll Be Doing** + Will repair equipment to dig and move limestone, earth, gravel or a combination of these materials. + Lubricate and perform breakdown maintenance and scheduled repairs on HDE’s as required to achieve optimum performance. + Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose problems. + Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with specifications and ensure that all equipment repairs are performed accurately to the manufacturer standards. + Perform other miscellaneous mechanical and maintenance duties as assigned. **What Are We Looking For** + 4th year with Red Seal Journeyman ticket with 2 years related experience + Proficiency in servicing transmissions, rear ends, running gear, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. + The successful candidate will have a proven safety record as well as a history of being a team player and communicating effectively. **Conditions of Employment** + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check. **Work Environment** + Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, lifting heavy loads, inclement weather, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** + $55.81 per hour + Transportation from Hinton, Alberta to site + Secure, long-term employment + Competitive wage and benefits package + Training and development + Overtime available Heidelberg Materials welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
