There will be a mix of electrical & mechanical installs and repairs. Ability to install electronic equipment and troubleshoot. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on existing equipment. Installs and repairs for GPS, back-up cameras, new technologies, repairs on all their equipment (bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, cranes, scissor lifts, etc) **Hard Skills** + Troubleshooting + Installing electronic equipment + Electrical and mechanical repairs + Preventative maintenance + Inspections **Requirements** + Must have a minimum of one year 12-volt electronic, automotive, mechanical and/or technical work experience or related schooling, to include a basic understanding of installation services and basic troubleshooting skills. + Must have basic IoT and Technology troubleshooting skills. + Must have basic electrical skills i.e. DVOM testing, able to identify different battery connect methods. (series, parallel, etc…) + Prior work with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines, preferred. + Must be able to regularly travel for this position, including overnight or multi-night travel within an assigned or designated area. + Must possess a current and valid driver license with a clean driving record **Work Environment** Primarily will be a Field Mechanic, traveling nationwide. 90% of the role will be travel. Driving company vehicle. 6-12 weeks at a time on the road.
