Join Foley Equipment and grow your career as a skilled Caterpillar, heavy equipment, EPG (Electric Power Generation) or truck technician today.  What You Will Do in This Role: Provide high quality preventive maintenance on systems with a primary focus on heavy construction PM servicesRepair or replace parts as required within the defined expectations of the task  Order replacement parts and services in a manner that promotes efficiency and effectiveness Test and verify correct operation of all maintenance repairs and adjustments Communicate effectively and professionally with customers on their maintenance and repairs. develop and maintain long-lasting customer relationshipsCreate a work environment that supports safety and is considerate of the customer and department’s needs.Must be willing to work overtime as required by fluctuating workloads, available for after-hours calls as needed Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations. 
Candidate Requirements:Must be active duty U.S. Military members (or spouse) with approximately 180 days of time in service remaining.Must be accepted into the Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) 25-2 cohort.
Our Ideal Candidate: Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications Meet and maintain all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements for commercial motor vehicle drivers with tanker endorsement, or the ability to obtain a CDL with tanker endorsement. What Will Put You Ahead: Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry Knowledge of use of various heavy equipment, including Caterpillar.Current and valid CDL w/ tanker endorsementBilingual (Spanish/English)Stable work history
