**Aerotek's client is looking for a Lube Technician to join their team in the Frederick, MD area.** As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing heavy equipment by performing routine fluid changes, inspections, and other preventative maintenance tasks. **Responsibilities** + Drain and replace all types of fluids and filters, inspect all fluid levels, and top off as needed. + Properly obtain and label oil samples from each component as required. + Determine necessary parts, materials, and tooling needed to perform the PM’s assignments. + Follow steps outlined in maintenance manuals. + Perform and complete machine inspections and communicate any issues with PM management staff. + Maintain the service vehicle and any specialty tooling, keeping it in safe, clean, and good operating order. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Follow all company policies, processes, and procedures. + Exercise safe work practices in observance of the company’s safety goals and protocols. + Manage time effectively to maximize productivity and minimize machine downtime. + Complete and submit assigned work order reports, time entry, and all other paperwork on the company-provided laptop and/or iPad daily. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience working as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic. + Experience in the diesel or heavy equipment industry as a technician. + Valid Class B CDL (or Class A) and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record. **Why Work Here?** + This is a union position that offers long-term growth opportunities within the company.
