We are looking for a highly skilled **Diesel Mechanic** to join our team in **Monroe, LA** . at our landfill. + First shift, starting at 10:00 a.m. 50- 60 hours a week.. Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday’s. Working 10-12 hours a day, 50- 60 hours a week. + Pay Range: $20/hr. - 26/hr. + Tool allowance of $150 per month towards your tool kit. + On top of competitive wages, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, and vacation. **Job Summary** Performing preventative maintenance, repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems, along with parts replacement and minor engine repair on our garbage trucks and heavy equipment. **The ideal candidate will possess:** + 3+ years of relevant work experience in diesel/heavy truck fleet maintenance. + Heavy equipment operating experience. + ASE Certifiedis a plus. + Class A or BCDLis a plus. The salary range for this position is $20/hr. – 26/hr.
