Position Summary:
We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic that thrives in an engaging work environment. The day-to-day challenges keep you on your toes with variety and teamwork along with a chance at independence. Our mechanics get to play the “hero” role each day as they help keep our jobs moving and our equipment running and operating safely. The right person for this job is focused and coachable, has the drive to learn and succeed, and can work under pressure, all while having fun! You will have the opportunity to work on top-of-the-line equipment such as pavers, loaders, a soil stabilization truck, mills and more!
Job-Type: Union, Hourly, Full-time (although shop does close for 3 weeks over the winter)
Work Location: Mendota Heights, MN, in shop
Requirements: All candidates are required to pass a thorough Background Check, Physical and Drug Test. References will also be checked.
Earning Potential:
We pay Union Field Rates (not Shop Rates) Hourly rates range from $40.02 - $45.01 (depending on experience)Benefits of Joining our team!

CDL Highly Preferred Paving equipment mechanic experience highly preferred 2 years' experience and/or Votech / Mechanical Training Good driving record Strong safety awareness and technical capacity Reliable and strong problem-solving skills
