**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic** **Job Description** As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment and machinery, including excavators and Caterpillar equipment. This role requires expertise in diesel engine repair, hydraulic system maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting. **Responsibilities** + Identify issues and troubleshoot diesel engines, heavy equipment, and semi-truck drivetrains. + Repair hydraulic systems on equipment and machinery. + Conduct preventive maintenance on diesel engines and heavy equipment. + Diagnose and repair rear end components, transmissions, valves, pumps, and clutch systems. + Perform electrical troubleshooting and prepare detailed work orders. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance. + Expertise in heavy equipment and mechanical repair. + ASE Certification. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar equipment and excavators. + Ability to perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in electrical troubleshooting. + Strong ability to prepare and manage work orders. + Knowledge of hydraulic systems and their maintenance. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401K matching, dental, medical, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, and paid time off.
