Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems. The role involves performing preventative maintenance on heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, and heavy haul trucks, as well as welding or fabrication tasks as needed. The successful candidate will also prepare work orders, order parts, fuel equipment, and maintain a daily log. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and performing additional assignments as needed is essential.

We offer overtime hours up to 32 hours per week and upon permanent employment, a comprehensive compensation package including health, dental, and vision insurance, employer-paid life insurance and AD&D, wellness benefits, an employee assistance program, paid holidays, and paid time off. Pay ranges from $30.50-$35 an hour, depending on experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is outdoors, Monday through Saturday, with 10-12 hour days. The role requires the ability to perform physical activities that involve considerable use of arms, legs, and the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00
