What You'll Do Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when needed Prepares and maintains accurate records of services and repairs Ensure daily preventative maintenance is performed on vehicles and mobile equipment, which may include fueling, cleaning, and checking/adding fluids as needed Maintain all tools, machines, and supplies in good, safe working order Report any issues or discrepancies immediately Repair and maintain shop machinery and mechanical equipment including Material Handlers, Mobile Shears, Forklifts, Front End Loaders, Skid Steer, Stationary Baler Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor What You'll Need Experience maintaining material handlers, forklifts, excavators and hydraulic equipment. Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, wiring, and working on heavy equipment Proficient in reading and understanding technical documents, diagrams and service manuals Capable to perform the physical requirements of the job (lift 35-50 lbs) Ability to work in a safety conscious industrial environment including use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to provide own tools Able to work overtime as business requires Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
