A DAY IN THE LIFE
Perform repairs on all types of heavy equipment
Operate equipment to diagnose problems and inspect equipment for defects
Assist supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates with a variety of mechanic and related tasks as necessary
Work with Oiler to ensure Preventative Maintenance is completed
Order parts and properly complete part requisition forms
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
CDL with ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement
Personal assortment of tools
Able to pass an MVR Check, Background Check, Physical and Drug Test
Willingness to travel and relocate to the jobsite (100% travel with no rotations)
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART
Mechanical knowledge usually obtained through a 2-year post-secondary degree
Working knowledge of construction equipment maintenance including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, emissions, diesel, gasoline, and record-keeping systems
