Hours: Monday - Friday 6am- 6pm

Pay: $23.40 an hour

Martin Marietta is currently looking for motivated individuals to join our portable production crews. This crew travels to different sand plants around Central Iowa and occasionally Eastern Nebraska to help with production. This position would be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment and maintenance on the portable plant.

This position is paid a competitive hourly wage as well as drive time pay, mileage pay and $175 per diem pay when not working at the base location.

Essential Functions

Responsible for operating a variety of equipment utilized in dredge miningPerform daily inspection of vehicle and work areaPerform repairs and routine maintenance on plant and mobile equipmentObserve visual and auditory signals during vehicle operationMaintain consistent and efficient operation of plantDiagnose and assist in trouble-shooting when process is interruptedPerform preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections as neededAll other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience

Previous Equipment Operation experience preferred, will train the right candidateBi-lingual is a plus 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position that works 40+ hours per week. This job will require travel to multiple sites.
