The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy machinery, with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency. **Job Functions:** + **Operate Equipment:** Safely and efficiently operate excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and water trucks to perform excavation, backfill, grading, and material handling tasks according to project specifications, manufacture, and PCL policies + **Site Preparation:** Prepare and maintain work sites by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and ensuring that machinery is set up correctly for the job. + **Equipment Maintenance:** Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions. + **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
