**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description** Candidates will be operating heavy equipment for farms and agricultural locations in the area. The main equipment that they will be operating includes, but is not limited to, sprayers, floaters, and payloaders. During the busy farming season, candidates will be out in the field operating equipment and assisting farmers with the spraying of their crops. During the winter months, they will primarily work in the shop performing maintenance on equipment, fixing the equipment, undertaking projects around the facility, and general upkeep. **Responsibilities** + Operate heavy equipment such as sprayers, floaters, and payloaders in agricultural settings. + Assist farmers with crop spraying during the farming season. + Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment during the winter months. + Undertake various projects around the facility. + Conduct general upkeep of the shop and equipment. **Essential Skills** + Experience with heavy equipment operation. + Proficiency in operating sprayers, floaters, and payloaders. + Ability to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with front end loaders, dozers, skid steers, and loaders is beneficial. + Background in agriculture or working with agricultural equipment is ideal. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
