Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy machinery for pipe laying projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
+ Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and bulldozers for pipe laying projects.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and project plans to ensure accurate pipe placement.
+ Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during operations.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Valid heavy equipment operator certification.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically in pipe laying.
+ Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
+ Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
