Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

Safely set up and dismantle rigging for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy equipment and materials. Inspect and select appropriate rigging equipment, such as ropes, chains, shackles, and slings, to ensure safe and efficient load handling. Operate rigging equipment, including hoists and winches, to safely lift and transport heavy loads. Perform pre-use inspections of all rigging equipment to identify defects or wear, and report any necessary repairs or replacements to ensure safety. Work closely with other team members to coordinate lifting and moving activities. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and company policies. Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards in rigging operations. Report all safety concerns and issues to management immediately. Maneuver loads through difficult and confined spaces. Properly select gear for the job.

Work Environment

Outdoor work on-site at the Hyundai project. You will need to wear steel-toe boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses. It is recommended to bring lunch and drinks as there is limited time to leave the site. The shift is Monday to Friday.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00
